Hello, readers! My name is Emily, and I am about to embark on a year-long educational journey called TCPCG. I plan to obtain my Master's in Secondary English Education. I received my Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Connecticut in 2011. I enjoyed every moment of being at UConn Storrs, so I'm very happy to be back at a different campus.
I like to read and work out. Among my favorite books are The Time Traveler's Wife, Wuthering Heights, and A Tale of Two Cities. I'm constantly trying to vary the things I read to get a taste of everything. I live in Connecticut, which I enjoy from late May until mid-November. The rest of the year is no fun for me; I don't enjoy the snow. I live with my parents and little sister, along with our three dogs, one gerbil, and a cat. I love my cat with all my heart, and he's almost always sitting on my lap or vying for my attention. It's a mutual adoration. On the weekends I visit my boyfriend Tim, who I've been with for three years. He's hilarious, and I love every minute with him (except when he's playing hours of video games. Just kidding).
I'm thrilled to start my education at UConn West Hartford. I can't wait to learn how to be an effective and thought-provoking teacher.
